These terms explain how our assessment service works. We'll also confirm the details of your assessment in writing before you book. If anything here is unclear, just ask.
Our service
- We provide diagnostic assessments for adults aged 18 and over: ADHD, autism, or a combined assessment. We don't currently assess children.
- We provide diagnosis only. We don't prescribe or manage medication, carry out titration, arrange shared care or provide therapy.
- Every assessment is carried out by your assessor and independently reviewed and co-signed by an HCPC-registered Clinical or Educational Psychologist.
- We are not an emergency service. If you need urgent help, call NHS 111 (mental health option), Samaritans on 116 123, or 999 in an emergency.
Fees and payment
- Our fees are fixed per pathway: adult ADHD assessment £450, adult autism assessment £895, combined assessment £1,150. The fee covers the full pathway described on our fees page.
- The initial 15-minute call is free, and there's no obligation to go ahead.
- Payment arrangements are explained at your initial call and confirmed in writing before you book. [add payment schedule and accepted methods]
Cancelling or rescheduling
Life happens, and we'll always try to be flexible. [add your notice period and any charges for cancelling or rescheduling] You have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking (the cooling-off period). If you ask us to start your assessment within that time, you may need to pay for any part of the service already provided.
The outcome
An assessment is a careful clinical process, and we can't guarantee a particular outcome. Your fee covers the assessment whatever the result. Your feedback session will explain the reasoning behind your results either way.
Your report
Your report belongs to you to share as you choose. We won't share it with anyone else without your agreement, except where the law requires it or there's a serious risk of harm. See our privacy notice.
Informants
Some assessments need an informant who knew you as a child. If one isn't available, tell us before booking so we can discuss whether the assessment can go ahead.
Concerns and complaints
Please see our complaints procedure.
